Watery Wednesday

These photos are of a Top Notch Pigeon, native Black Ducks & a Black Swan taken at the La Trobe University Bundoora, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. My husband took them with a camera he was unfamiliar with. We bought it to replace one we were borrowing that got a stuck lense. I thought he got amazingly close to the things he photographed, or seemed to. I have photos Friday and next Tuesday. There were some on Tuesday and Sunday as well.

I don't think I've ever seen a black swan - cool pics!

I posted today on "6 Things I value,6 things I don't support" with a link to you. That was a fun meme - thanks for tagging me.
Linda, thanks once again for sharing some of your lovely photos ! I have nominated your blog for an award, but see that you already have it (Hot Blog Award) - well at least you know that you have a lot of readers who think your blog is HOT ;)

Great Watery Wed. shots. I'm always a little surprised by your pictures until I remember that it's not winter down there!

I always love seeing black swan photos and seeing them in person at our nearby zoo. They are so graceful and elegant!

Great shots! I'd love to see a black and a white swans swimming side by side.

These are great. I've never seen a black swan in person before. I think they're beautiful.

Sorry Linda, I thought I had already left a comment here but I think my short-term rememberer let me down. Beautiful photos for WW, those Black Swans are incredible.

These are all lovely watery images; but I love the first one. That red beak just pops.
Very nice.
